My Time Machine dates and time

My Time Machine dates and times are incorrect, like over a year off, and I am trying to figure out how to reset my Time Machine dates to be correct. I'm running MacOS Big Sur, 11.7.4 I appreciate your help with this question.

Click on the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the Mac's screen

Click on Open Time Machine Preferences

What is the date range that you see for backups? Whatever it is, that is the data that is contained on the Time Capsule hard drive. It is possible that Time Machine started all over with a new backup at some point in the past if the app detected that the current backup file was corrupted.

Sorry, there is no way to edit or change dates on the backups.
