Can I add a password to certain apps?

I share an ipad with my kid and I’d like to restrict access to certain apps from my child but while being able to access them myself. If theres no way to add a password is there any other way to hide apps from them

No. Not unless the app developer built that functionality into the app itself.

App locker Why doesn’t IOS have an app locker Samsung has it why hasn’t Apple iPhones got it. I know I can understand apples worry that I heard that teenagers may do something stupid but if you think of it I have a brother that’s very nosey and if you don’t want people to see what you have on your apps then you have to keep them secure. I know that there is a password when you first go on your phone but that doesn’t stop people from getting into your apps
