A cloud of small green and red dots appears on Macbook Pro M1 2020 display

While I was using Figma on my Mac, suddenly I realized a cloud of small green and red dots appears on Macbook Pro M1 2020 display when my screen on black. I tried to restart the laptop but is didn't work. It has never had a single hit, so i'm a little bit worry

I've looked online for threads and discussions of people with the same issue and followed some suggestions but as most of these didn’t seem like the exact issue I had, I don’t think any of these suggestions made a difference.

I’m stumped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.0

Ah, I understand now.

I was fishing for maybe you had installed some Haxies that fiddled around with the pointer. The area around the pointer is constantly re-drawn, and any third-party software that fiddled with the pointer style would be suspect.

But now that we are on the subject of added software, does the same problem show up in Safe mode? Safe mode takes all defaults and does not allow third-party stuff to auto-load, so it may behave slightly differently.

"works in safe mode, fails in regular mode" may imply "It's something you added"
