Wrong Apple ID with watch set up

I recently got a new phone and when I go to pair my watch to it, it asks for the password to an old Apple ID that I haven’t used it years to set up FaceTime. It will not give me the option to use a different Apple ID. It will not let me skip or move past this. The Apple ID that is on my phone is my current one- I made sure! I’ve read several threads on here for help, but still haven’t found the solution. Help please!

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

You'll need to recover your credentials for that old Apple ID.

It sounds like it's in Activation Lock:

Here are a couple resources that might help you recover your password:

Otherwise, if you still have your original receipt of purchase and if it shows the serial number of the watch, Apple can help you get it unlocked.
