iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 15
Check if it is a temporary glitch, by using these gestures:
Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 10-20 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear, the one with the "slider" to turn the device off included).
If the issue persists, it could be a hardware (screen? other internal component?) failure but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.
I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
Regards
Giulio
(*) You can do it:
My device has been fixed now by one of premium partners of apple in the Philippines which is Mobile Care, the process is 2 hours. But I received my Iphone 14 PM after 1 and half hours, no additional payment needed since still under warranty.
I do have the same case. and apple service center recommendation is to replace the screen and billed under customer. I think Apple should look on to this, it might be a hardware bug
I had the same problem yesterday, after 16 months of use. I went to an authorized unit for advice and they quoted a new screen replacement price of about 9 million Vietnam Dong, equivalent to 50% of the machine's value. Obviously this is a mass product error of Apple, the company should have a reasonable support policy for users.

I had a similar issue, post updating to IOS 16. My device was Out of Warranty and was at the service center for 1 month, while I was back and forth with customer support to get an exception. Unfortunately, I was denied an exception since my product had been 4 months Out of Warranty. Here comes the surprise, post collecting my phone the green screen suddenly disappeared and I was able to access my phone. I immediately updated to IOS17 post which the green screen has not appeared till now.
I was lucky, but I do understand many are not. While talking to customer service they had post diagnosis mentioned that the software update had triggered the green screen due to a hardware flaw. I find this no fault of the customer and more of Apple selling phone which will only last an year. Lost my complete confidence in the brand.
Hello i have the same issue with my iphone 13 promax it was yellow screen po, i went to Mobile Care and assessment was to replace the screen but still needs further check up and will take like 2-4 weeks po. How cone you got your phone in 2 hours po?
Don't worry your mobile under warranty. So, no cost to replace display. Free of Cost
I tried all these, I gave the phone to Apple care service.., They charged be Rs. 1750 for the diagnosis and came back the next day and told that it is a hardware issue. But dint give me a proper solution why this happend. Instead asked me to change the display for Rs31500.
How Apple can help?
Since it is out of warranty even the Apple support centre doesnt help and join hands with the service centre and foll us on this.
Atlast i have to spend a Rs 31500 to restore my iphone or just throw it in the garbage.
My Phone is only 1.5 years old.
Apple was a trusted brand once.
Faced the Same issue , Apple does not acknowledge it as a product bug even though I saw multiple people with same problem when I was at the Apple genius bar .. paid for the replaced screen.. my phone was 1.5 years old and I realise from all the comments that most of them had problem after 1.4 -1.5 yrs !!!
it’s most likely a bad batch issue so surprising how they won’t acknowledge it.. new screen warranty is only 90 days and they couldn’t commit that this same issue won’t come in the new screen after 90 days.
I just got the green screen on my 13 pro max. It was running well all the while. The iOS was only updated recently so it should be related to the software.
Found an online repair software Tuneskit that claims can repair the issue by plugging in the iPhone to the laptop. It requires a paid subscription so I did not pursue.
Ive also just checked 3rd party shops are offering repair of the green screen problem in 20mins.
It seem like the problem is affecting mostly iPhone 13 models after the iOS update.
It's crazy that this is an ongoing issue with this phone that has been documented as being a non user error issue. This can randomly happen at anytime without the device being dropped or exposed to water etc. Clearly a manufacturer problem that we the users have to be out of pocket to repair. There should at least be a procedure in place for this

I don't think Apple will hear us(I hope I'm wrong)...
They won't "hear" you in this forum. This is a user-to-user forum and Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. However, you can let them know your concerns here:
Or by contacting Apply using the Support link at the bottom left of every page of these forums.
Had the same issue while I was travelling, went to an Apple Store in Bangkok and I was told that the screen can be repaired for free but had to wait for 7-14 days, but I weren’t staying that long so I waited until I came back to Hong Kong.
Went to the Causeway Bay Apple Store, suddenly I was told I had to pay 2500HKD to repair, no free repair cause the problem was not listed in the ‘Known Problem’ in their website (tho numerous reports here). Absolute nonsense. Apple is so disappointing. Definitely will rethink if I should trust Apple again when buying my next phone.
I'm having iPhone 13 pro
After 1.3 years I faced the same issue.
I contacted apply support. They asked me to replace the LCD costing 30k.
I replaced the LCD from local service provider. After 5 month I again faced the same issue. I replaced flex and the phone started woking properly. It cost me 5k. After 2 months again facing the same issue.
Service provider says it's an update issue
Totally disappointed
Wow less than a year. Hope Apple support team will escalate this concern. For me I paid the screen replacement for this. Not good.
