MacBook Air M2 Battery Drain Problem While in Sleep Mode

I have the exact same problem with yours regarding the abnormal battery draining. I have contacted so many time apple specialists, visiting store but it were all pointless. My Mac was restored by Apple but it is still draining so fast. I have to accept the fact that I charge my Mac 3-4 times per day.

I am so fed up of contacting Apple specialists cuz they all said the same thing without any help at all. I was asked to check any significant energy consumption from Activity Monitor but they are all normal. My cycle count increase 1 every day with constant charging.

Have you had your issue resolved by Apple?

im also having same issue while on sleep mode if i don’t open my mac for 3-4-5 days the battery’s draining drastically don’t know what to do in these cases and my mac is abt to turn one year old soon and the warranty period may get over

Hello, did you manage to find any solution? I am facing the exact same issue for the past 4 months. Apart from contacting Apple support specialists, I have visited there service centres many times as well, just like you. They reset the Mac and even with the fresh OS installation, the battery drain on sleep mode keeps happening.

My Mac is barely 8 months old and apart from the warranty, I had purchased Apple Care+ plan as well. Still, Apple simply refuses to resolve the problem. Their support specialists keep repeating the same troubleshooting steps every time I call them and it is very clearly evident that they simply want me to get tired and give up on the issue.

It's ridiculous and an outright fraud.

Yes, Wifi, Bluetooth - everything was disabled when I brought the Mac back from the service centre, after they installed MacOS afresh.

I did not even sign-in to my apple account. Yet the drain continues.

nope no one at the rescue, its still same and they advised me to visit the apple service center and they confirmed there its just normal for mac and dint offer me any resolution, I had to come back, no idea what to do now

Since I have two MacBook Air M1 and M2 (plus iPads), there are times where I dont' use one of them for a week etc...thx

Did you verify that it's not Bluetooth or something like that?

I give you the advice to use an app to find out what disturbs the sleep...and play aroudn with settings

I used Sleep Aid which gives you a comprehensive overview whats happening..

you can try 30 days - which is enough to find out:-)
