Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 and Ventura 13.1

This device worked fine via my Anker hub until I upgraded to Ventura, then disappeared completely. When I plug it into the Mac directly via a USB C adapter, it works fine. Has anyone been able to figure out why it is suddenly not acceptable to use it via a hub?

Hello Tom Boutell,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see you have some questions about your webcam not working after updating, and we'd like to help. The following link can go over steps on what to do if you notice your USB device not working with your Mac: If you see USB Devices Disabled on your Mac

If an external device isn’t recognized by your Mac and a message says that the device needs more power, the operation can't be completed, or USB Devices Disabled, try these steps:
* Disconnect and reconnect the external device to your Mac.
* Connect your external device to a different port on your Mac.
* If your external device is connected to a USB or Thunderbolt hub, connect your device directly to your Mac.
* If your USB or Thunderbolt hub is self-powered, make sure that it’s connected to an AC adapter.
If you still need help, contact Apple Support.

Regards.
