My Canon Pixma iP7220 doesn't print correctly with M1 MacBook

Hello. I have a MacBook Pro with the M1 processor. I have had a Canon Pixma iP7220 for a while. With my old Mac, the printer worked correctly. First time trying to print on a printable CD with the M1 MacBook, the image prints enormously and most of it misses the CD. Ink ends up all over the CD tray. I never had this issue until now. I went to the Canon website and downloaded an updated driver. Tried it again after restarting the MacBook, and the issue still exists. Any ideas ?
