Hide My Email Doesn’t Forward Messages I created an app to a website and accidentally used the “hide my email” function when I signed up. Recently, I got logged out and it wants a verification code that it says was sent to the address I used to sign up. It’s been a day (so a bit past the 10 minute code window) and I haven’t had that email show up. I tried sending a test mail to the private email that Apple randomly generated, but that bounced back saying it wasn’t a working address.

Please check the actual email ID.

However, Hide My email uses your Actual email ID only but the difference is that the Actual email ID will be invisible to the App server and will be masked with an iCloud email ID created just for you and for the App. When they respond to this Masked email ID the email will come to your Actual email Inbox.

There is no separate email Inbox for Hide My email allocated to you.
