Loop dilemma

Loops... since i first started using GB in 2004 has had ongoing issues and i wish Apple would re do this quite often helpful addition to GB.

Mac MINI M2 2023 / Mac Studio Max 2022- gb 10.4.7 32 GB RAM /64GB ram

if i open loop browser, half my loops are gone. if i click on lets say a guitar loop that is greyed out with a circle to click on to open it up/install it will erase all loops, NONE are found in the browser. Reindexing doesnt help. Restarting brings the same loops back. Am i to understand that i have to therefore manually from the

library -Audio loops drag each single loop not yet in the browser ..and drag it on the loop browser so that it is then registered in the browser?????? This is an awful process, arduous and long!!! it happens on both computers so it is obviously not anything im doing. Is this a known bug? i would like to have my loops available. Help!!!!
