How I can disable notification sounds while on call on my iPhone?

Hey, I am using iPhone for the last 10years, I have never experienced that annoying part, I am using iPhone 14 ProMax. While I am on calls, the notification sound in ear is so loud, such as text message, WhatsApp etc

Could anyone help me the best way to find out how I can disable all notifications (such as WhatsApp, texts, emails) sound while on call? Tnx

I silenced ALL notifications while on a call.

Create a new Focus <Custom>

Name it, etc. I named mine "Notifications Off with Calls'

Select 'Customize Focus'

Under SILENCE NOTIFICATIONS <People>

Select 'Allow Notifications From': Verify/ set nobody is selected

Click Next

On Choose Calls to Allow select 'Allowed People Only'

Click 'Done'

Verify 'None allowed' is displayed under 'People'

Click on 'Apps'

On 'Allow Notifications From' Verify/ set only the Phone App is selected

Click 'Done'

Under 'Set a Schedule' select 'Add Schedule'

Select 'App'

Select 'Phone'

Verify 'While using phone' is displayed below phone

Back out and you should be all set.

Before answering the call, use the side control and flip the switch down for vibrate, then answer the call, once done flip it back up for ringer.

I did it that way that it’s done automatically with Shortcuts application. You need to go to automations and create two of them. The first one to set silent mode when the phone application is open and second one to turn off the silent mode when the phone application is closed.

Hope that helps someone but really Apple… What the heck…

Go to Shortcuts

click on automations

Click on the plus icon to create a new one

Scroll down and choose app

Choose when it’s opened and run automatically

Click on choose and look for the phone app

Click next

Click on new blank automation

Click add action

Search for set silent mode (in scripting)

If you are creating the automation to turning the silent mode off, click on the the word “on” it will switch off

click done

and that’s it :)

Not sure if you have resolved this yet, however this can be disabled if desired; go to (disclaimer; I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max, however assumed that the iPhone 14 would be similar!1. ):
Settings -> Accessibilities -> Hearing Devices
2. Toggle "Play System Sounds" to the OFF position

That only affects how sounds are played if you're using hearing aids. The OP doesn't say that is their issue.

Yea because when I did it few times, again after finishing the call you forget to make it normal again! Then the phone remain on silent!
this doesn’t make sense
such beeps must be on silent mode whenever we are on a phone call, same like other models of iPhones
