Charging Overnight iPhone loses Wifi & Celular Connection

Hello,

My iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 16.3 has an issue when charging overnight. Many times I wake up to find that my iPhone does not function properly. It won't make or receive calls and browsing the internet or apps will not work. It does not happen every time the phone charges for a long time but it happens very often.

The only way to fix it is to turn the phone off and back on. This fixes the issue. However, it's a hassle to keep doing this every time.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Please advice!

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16

Hello Aloma08,

We certainly want your iPhone 13 Pro to operate better for you, and have a suggested step to help. You mentioned your iOS version is 16.3. There is a newer update out, 16.3.1. We would first advise you to update your iPhone, restart it, then test for those issues again.

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

  1. We always recommend getting a fresh backup of your iPhone: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
  2. Connect your iPhone to power and a stable Wi-Fi network.
  3. Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  4. Tap Download and Install.
  5. You may be asked to enter your iPhone passcode.

If you receive any alerts, errors, or have issues while updating, reply back here.

All the best.

I have had the same issue as the OP since updating to 16.4. Updating to 16.4.1 did not fix the problem. I've tried "forget this network," "reset network settings" and the only thing that works is to restart the phone after charging it overnight. I have an iPhone 14 pro. My next step was going to be to reset to factory settings then reinstall my backup. I'd like some advice. Thanks
