Hi, when I open the charging case of my airpods pro 2 it make the sound. And when I try to go to the airpod setting I cant see the option to disable that sound. I tried reseting them but it still didnt work.

Your AirPods Pro (2nd generation) charging case plays a sound when it pairs, charges, and more. You can turn off these sounds.
, tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen, then turn Enable Charging Case Sounds on or off.

I had the same issue with the grayed out button.
I remember the fix was to go into Accessibilty setting first to turn off "airpods charge following tone something".
After that the grayed out button in Airpods (Enable Charging Case Sounds) became funtional again.
If someone figures out the exact way please repost - I cannot figure out exactly what I did :-)
THIS WORKED FOR ME!! you have to go to accessability > airpods, press your airpods and turn the tone volume all the way down (the lowest is 15%) then go out and again to the main menu, press your airpods at the very top when you have one in your ear and the option shouldnt be greyed out anymore
I found that I could change this as long as my case was plugged in. Otherwise, the option was greyed out.
Returned them to the seller and got my refund :)
As a different user suggested, I was able to turn off the charging case sound after connecting my Airpods Pro 2nd Gen to my Mac Studio. Hopefully this helps someone else.
Your explanation is WRONG! 2 phones and both DO NOT have an enable or disable case sounds for AirPod Pro. It IS NOT greyed out. This setting is, simply put, NOT available on 2 different IPhones!!!
Have the AirPods in your ears and the case closed, then the settings button is no longer greyed out!

The problem is not finding the setting to Enable Charging Case Sounds it is the option is turned on and greyed out so it cannot be turned off.
I have been through this process several times resetting forgetting the airpods pro bnoth on a mac and on an iphone. I am seeing the charging sound setting shown as 'on' but the control is dimmed and cannot be changed. Also on ios I am advised that the setup is incomplete. Must have gone trhough the procedure 4 or 5 times- unless I am making the same mistake over and over something is broken...
Thank you so much! My other AirPods didn’t do this, but I just got a second set and it was driving me crazy. Turning the volume down, and then going back into the settings, finally let me turn it off.
