App Tracking

Hello, I am 18 years old as of March 16, 2023. I have been trying to enable app tracking but it is greyed out and says I cannot enable it because I do not meet “minimum age requirements” I have tried logging in and out of my Apple ID, and I have turned off my screen time. If anyone knows how to solve this issue please help me out thank you :)

Greeting Jessi8,

Happy belated birthday! You completed some great steps to resolve the issue that you're having when trying to enable App Tracking Transparency. At this time, we suggest that you verify the birthdate that is associated with your Apple ID. Because this is used in some features, it's important to have this correct on your account. The following steps will be able to assist you:

On the web

  1. Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
  2. Select Personal Information, then choose Birthday.
