Missing Font

Missing Font

I use Century Gothic font. It appears in Word, Excel in fact all MS pros but it is NOT in my Font folders anywhere. I would like to use it in Pages Numbers & Keynote. I have searched everywhere including Font folders in System/Library and Users/Library in fact I have searched every way I can think of. Where is this font? I am familiar with adding fonts & validating but I need to find it first. I know MS frogs use the Font folder, they dont have a program font folder of their own.

Its a puzzle.

You only see that font (and many others) in Office because those fonts are buried within each Office app. Only they can see them in that location.

Right click on any Office app, choose Show Package Contents and go to the Contents/Resources folder. If they haven't changed it again, you should find a DFonts folder within that.

COPY the Century Gothic fonts out of the DFonts folder and place them in the Fonts folder of your user account. You should find these styles:

Century Gothic Bold Italic.ttf

Century Gothic Bold.ttf

Century Gothic Italic.ttf

Century Gothic.ttf
