iPhone not sending or receiving pictures

Any luck with this, my husband and I have the same issue and can’t fix it with any of the suggestions

Since downloading iso16.7.7 I can’t send photos in iMessage

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max when I send pictures it tells me failure. Why are my pictures not going through

Same here, the only thing that worked for me that I haven’t seen other people say was to turn off iMessage itself and then reset the phone using the volume buttons and then power button! Once it came back on I could send pictures again and actually see the ones sent to me.

Nothing was working for me either. I remembered I had gone through my phone and deleted apps I don’t use to free up space. So I went back in and checked a few things and noticed my cellular data was turned off. I turned it back on and rebooted my phone and I was able to send and receive photos again.

The one thing that has worked for me is simply to update to the latest iOS. It fixed the problem the first time it happened. Later it happened again and another update fixed it. Haven't had the problem since.

I'm having the same issue, can't receive photos, shared contacts etc, it's frustrating and nothing I do seems to fix it. Apple needs to sort this soon. thinking of changing to Samsung, they don't seem to have these issues.

I just sent in the information about my phone I see a lot of people are having the same problem, I have to send my pictures to my granddaughter IPhone 13 so she can send my pictures of my family members. my mms and sms turn off help me this is ridiculous. That’s why a lot of people know have androids is it Apple is the worst or certain things

My iPhone also wouldn’t show pic messages.

I tried this and this worked

go to messages turn them all off

turn phone off remove and remove the SIM card.

replace SIM card and turn phone on.

go back to messages turn them back on and it will restart all the messages.

it will take a moment for the messages to start to show.

that should fix the problem hopefully

if Apple wanted you to send pictures over your iPhone using Messages, they could have easily set this option as default. However, Apple has failed to do this. Perhaps there is some financial gain to be had by Apple by doing this. Perhaps it!s been done as a cruel joke by bored developers. I guess we'll never know. "Apple makes it easy".
