Need to make a return

I switched to At&t because they were offering the new iphone 14. I need to make a return at a store but they can only process the return if i give them the same card i used to make the purchase. I used apple pay but my Apple pay card number is different now after switching to At&t and getting a new phone. So now what?

Exchange engraved iPad bought with trade in. I traded in my iPad for the new base model ($180 trade value). I had the new one engraved. When I get to the store well they be able exchange it for the iPad Air? I’m within the 14 days. Or well they process it as a return. Returning my 180 by gift card, and the balance to my CC? I can’t believe I made such a mistake.

I tried that but because my apple pay card number is different they can’t process the return. How do i get my old apple card number?

Your device account number is tied to your device. If you no longer have the device, you can no longer access the number.
