Does MagSafe work when unplugged?
My daughter and I got a MagSafe for her iPhone 13 and AirPods second generation yesterday.
We charged the MagSafe for 7 hours first, then unplugged it from the charging cable and tried to charge her iPhone. The issue is her phone will not charge (unless the MagSafe is plugged to its cable charger).
This is puzzling… What is the point on having a MagSafe if you cannot go around your home without it having to be plugged in? We needed to leave her phone charging on the MagSafe while the MagSafe needs to remain plugged in.
This takes away the whole point of us buying it… the convenience of being able to move her phone as well as the charging device around, as the MagSafe still needs to be plugged in.
This seems like a waste of money.
