Can’t access what is on iCloud Drive from my iPad

I have pages on my iPad. Multiple documents. Most say “waiting” but never download. I have turned on iCloud Drive. The “Files” icon opens a page with a Pages folder, but that folder is empty. How do I access my documents?? Apple says use the Browse button in Files, but there is no Browse button, only the empty Pages Folder

Thanks for reaching out kjinrville,

It sounds like you're having trouble accessing documents from your iCloud Drive in Pages. We can help.

First, are you able to download the file on any other device, or is this only happening with your iPad? Is there any change when using a different Wi-Fi network?

Give those steps a try, and see if there is any improvement.

Keep us posted.

Thanks! My Wi-Fi is fine. I deleted and reloaded both Pages and iCloud before I found a work-around -- very complicated and I'm not sure exactly what I did, but I essentially air-dropped from my iPhone (where the Files folder did contain Pages with my documents -- in duplicate for some reason). I air-dropped each document separately to my iPad and they showed up in the Pages in the Files folder. In triplicate. I went through and deleted all the extras. Some were the "waiting" documents, which had no content at all. Stupid and really time-consuming, but at least I didn't have to go to iTunes for anything. (I despise iTunes and have no idea why Apple keeps it.)
