iPad rejecting MacBook Air bluetooth connection
I own an iPad Air 4 with the latest iOS and a MacAir with Ventura. Tried to pair them via bluetooth but my iPad keeps rejecting it. It says my Mac is not supported? Help
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2

That’s correct. You can’t pair them via Bluetooth. What are you trying to accomplish?
Handoff, continuity, etc. do not require pairing.

I wanted to activate handoff...and somewhere in between the apple page said that both wifi and Bluetooth need to be on. I tried with Bluetooth off and it won't connect.
I have already done the signing with the same account and adjusting the advanced settings on the display setting to all "on"
I don't know what else I'm supposed to do.

Handoff does not require that the two devices be paired. It only requires that BT be turned on on both devices. They also need to be on the same WiFi network.
