Ipad 1st gen stuck in bootloop and when i plug it in to my laptop it wont even turn on.

So, I found my 1st iPad and it's the 1st gen iPad. There's all kinds of stuff I want off it like photos etc. My iPad is boot looping and it only works with its original charging brick. I tried to hard reset it, but it wants me to plug it into my pc, but I can't because it won't turn on when plugged into my pc. I tried taking it to my local BestBuy, but they just pulled its too old to be fixed thing on me and I said I have stuff on it that I need but they just said buy a new iPad to me. I don't know what to do please help me this iPad means a lot to me.

Given its age, the iPad battery has very likely failed. Unless the battery can hold a minimum charge, even with a Power Adapter connected to the iPad, it is very unlikely to successfully boot to a running state.

Unless the iPad successfully boots - and you also successfully enter the device Passcode - no data can be recovered from the iPad’s encrypted filesystem.
