Airport Time Capsule

I have a 2014 27" Mac that will no longer backup to my Airport Time Capsule. It was working fine until 2 months ago. The first pic is the Time Machine summary. The second is the notice I get when I click on the red "i". I have unplugged and restarted the unit, but it has not worked. I was going to erase the hard drive or reset it to see if that solved the problem, but I am concerned that will do something to the wifi router, which is working fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Erasing the Time Capsule drive has no effect at all on the router portion of the product.

Select the Zero Out Data option in AirPort Utility for the Time Capsule for the erase procedure and expect the process to take approximately 6-8 hours.

The Time Capsule will blink amber during the erase, but you can continue to use the Time Capsule as a router during the erase process.

You may need to Select Disk after the erase is complete to reset the path from your Mac to the Time Capsule again after the erase is complete.
