In what struck me as a big surprise, Adobe also removed every one of their Helvetica styles from the CC font server.
For older fonts you still need to use, you can convert them to OpenType. There are numerous online sites that will do this for free. You upload your font, and download the converted one.
There's also desktop apps that do this. TransType and FontXChange are stand-alone font converters. And there's the free FontForge, which is a full font editor. You could open the old T1 font in that and export it as OpenType.

Adobe has completely deprecated T1 fonts in all of their latest titles. None of their apps will load this font type.
Photoshop was the first to cut them off last year, sometime in 2022. The rest in January of this year.
I have a full subscription to Adobe which includes Adobe Fonts, but the type 1 font AlWood, Barrel (which I believe to be an Adobe T1 font), is not available. Previously I had had success setting type in Illustrator. Any work arounds?
You're welcome. 🙂
Thank you! Exactly what I needed.
