Did you buy this phone brand new from Apple or an Authorized Apple Reseller?
it shows the option to sign in with a school or work account under device management settings, but nothing else regarding configuration profiles.
this iphone was purchased by me and has never been affiliated with any school or employer - at least not legally....fraudulently, through hacking, perhaps, but certainly that information is not able to be seen on my end.
i first realized my privacy was compromised in 2006, when i was made aware by an apple employee at the genius bar that my macbook had a keylogger on it. several devices since then, both apple and android, have been hacked, as have apps, browsers, and various accounts of mine, many of which i've lost access to. i know who is hacking me, yet have failed to get help from local law enforcement, the fbi, or anyone else. i have had no privacy for years.
i bought my iphone new from walmart.
"Prepare for new iPhone is not available because this iPhone or Apple ID is being managed."
