iPhone iOS 16.3 Calendar issue

Since the new update to iOS 16 my iPhone 12 Apple calendar is having two issues. One, the reoccurring scheduled events in the calendar show up as scheduled for multiple times a day, everyday of the week for the entire year. Secondly, if I try to schedule a new reoccurring event they don’t show on the calendar. However, I can find them in the calendar search. I’ve tried scheduling them using the custom option and no custom and it still isn’t showing. I’ve deleted the reoccurring events and started over but that didn’t help. I’ve rebooted my phone. That didn’t help. I went to setting and made sure the “all events” were turned on. Still not working. My calendar doesn’t sync to any other devices but just to make sure I’ve checked all the boxes I made sure my default calendar and the sync were correct. They’re still missing. Scheduling a reoccurring event is a ghost in my calendar or it’s rude and screams at me by listing it as scheduled for 15 times a day, everyday.

Hi Beach-Peach,

In this case we'd recommend updating to iOS 16.4 to see if the issue continues. You can learn how here:

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Here's a link to the full resource if you need it: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
