Why I cannot sign in to my Apple ID even the password is correct after migration?

I cannot sign in to my Apple ID on my new mac after migration. I entered the correct password but nothing happened after that. I tried to reinstall macos and even after that, still not working. I can log in to my MacBook but not my Apple ID. Can someone help me?

Unable to sign in with apple ID on mac I have purchased a new Macbook Air and am unable to sign in with my apple ID. I am able to sign in and out of my apple ID on my iPhone with no issue. I am using the exact same password and email as username. Everytime i try and sign into my apple ID via the "Settings" on Macbook Air it just keeps taking me back to the sign in screen, there's no error message or reason provided as to why it didn't accept my login credentials. I've tried to do this multiple times over the past few months but it won't let me log in. I've clicked "Forgot password" and changed my apple ID password a few times, but no matter what I do, I can't log in with Apple ID on my computer. All software updates are current and I have no other issues/ problems with the Macbook Air. Any advice?

Why can't I access my Apple ID after updating the operating system? I updated my Mac to this version and it no longer lets me log in to my Apple account. this is the only device I can't access, the others are all shared without problems. I tried to log out of the account on the device, change the password but it doesn't work. it tells me I can't log in. Has this happened to anyone? I think it's a software update issue. Thank you

Hi,

If you use same password for login to your MacBook Air and Apple ID, you should change Apple ID password.
