The date added of the photos are exactly same, same date and time. I am sure i did not download these photos, no download history in any browser.
It feels like somebody sent them to me through airdrop, but my airdrop setting are limited to contact only
Is my mac hacked? could resetting the device fix it?

Get Info on the files. If it was via Airdrop it will show the name of the device from which it came in the Where From section.
If Safari was used to download the file, it will show the URL of the source website.
