Active Calories whilst asleep??

On my apple watch I started a “Cool Down” exercise but actually didnt do anything and fell asleep for 3 hours. When I woke up it said I burned 287 Active calories when I did nothing at all! Can someone explain this? This happened between 11pm—2am

It is not an extra 287, like I said the 287 is part of the 452.

Remember this is an almost 3 hour "workout." with 72 heart rate, well aboveva healthy persons sleeping heart rate. Workout calories are only estimates

While a Workout is running and your heart is beating, the 287 calories associated with that period will be calculated and presented to you. It is part of the total 452 metabolic calories. Without the workout running, theoretically the total calories would still be 452.

These are all estimates anyway as a guide to your aim to improve fitness through workouts.
