Macbook Pro shuts down when lid closed

Hello, I have a very annoying issue that my Macbook Pro shuts down every time I shut it instead of sleeping. I have restarted in safe mode, Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac, installed a new OS (Ventura) and tried a few other things but it is still happening.

Attached is my Etrecheck report, please help!

I've deleted all VPNs and it didn't solve the issue so I reinstalled it. I've deleted Google Drive just now and the problem persists.

Do you know where I can find this partition/container file mentioned above? Can't find it on finder anywhere...

You do not say if this is an old issue, new issue, what changed(?)

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes,  security updates  is macOS Ventura 13.3   I would start there

This has happened for the past 2 months or so. I upgraded to Ventura from Monterrey or Big Sur (can't remember which) around a month ago but that didn't help.

See above for the big picture, does this help at all? ^

No explanation, however

Hi, I can confirm this setting was switched off.

Nothing jumps out in the report.

VPN's known to cause issues— you have more than one

Google Drive has been known to cause issues

but what catches my eye... something you have added here in a partition/Container(?)

Maybe you can say more...is this default install?
