Macbook Randomly Shuts Down

Hi.

I have a problem with my MacBook 16" 2019. The screen would randomly go dark like it's sleep.

I engage with the trackpad and the keyboard when the display goes dark. I have to close the lid, wait about a minute, and then open it again. This is inconvenient especially when I have to do some serious work.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi,

If your MacBook Pro has Intel processor, resetting SMC could solve your issue.

Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
