I have several recurring all-day events set up on my ical. They appear on my MacBook pro calendar but do not sync to my iPhone. Very annoying! Have reset my phone several times. Have turned off/on calendars and it doesn't fix. HELP!

Does the Calendar event sync to the iCloud website? If you don't see it there, check your iCloud settings on your Mac to make sure you have Calendar enabled: Set up iCloud for Calendar on all your devices - Apple Support

yes - the events appear on my MacBook pro and on the icloud calendar. It is just some of the all-day repeating events (birthdays) that aren't syncing.
