Am no expert, yet seems the answer is most likely "Yes".
We do not know which version of Photoshop is installed on your Mac.
Any apps on MacOS Mavericks 10.9.5. would likely be 32 bit apps,
Whereas apps on macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 need to be 64 bit apps to be compatible.
