iCloud Drive in iCloud Drive / Apple ID

Hey there! I'm a bit confused when I open the system settings "Apple ID" on my Mac. There are the applications listed that use Apple ID, right? I have "iCloud Drive" there, and some further options.

When I open options for "iCloud Drive", the programs that use iCloud Drive are listed...which also include "iCloud Drive" in it!

Isn't this like a snake biting its own tail? Is this a Meta thing? One causes the other? Is there a special meaning or logic to it? That confuses me a lot. :) At least I figured out that I need both "iClouds" to be activated to sync.

Same with "iCloud-Mail", it is in the Apple ID window AND in the Apple ID->iCloud->Options as seen above.

Why is that?

Thanks and Cheers, Michael
