Call Drop only in iPhone 11.
After updating my iPhone 11 to iOS 16.4.1(a) CALL DROP issues resolved completely. However, my frustration returned after update to iOS 16.5.
Based on the information I gathered through inquiries with people in my social circle, understood CALL DROP issue appears to be specific to iPhone 11 users
Interestingly, the calls do not drop when using either "Loudspeaker mode or Air Pods".
In an attempt to mitigate CALL DROP issue, I resorted to responding calls (incoming / outgoing) using Loudspeaker mode, with the volume reduced to the lowest level.
Regrettably, this workaround has become unpleasant & bothersome, as it deviates from my preferred way of interacting with my iPhone during calls.
The Apple customer care, both through chat & calls, as well as the service centre, have directed me to reach out to their respective carriers regarding this CALL DROP issues. However, carrier's response to the CALL DROP issue is logical and straightforward. They mentioned that "if the problem solely originates from the carrier, one expects call drops regardless of using Air Pods or being in Loudspeaker mode".
This issue seems highly likely to be solely a software glitch, which makes it surprising that a reputable tech company like Apple is unable to resolve the persistent problems experienced by numerous users.
In recent times, the distinctive qualities that Apple products were once known for have diminished, and their value in relation to the amount we paid for these devices have declined.
