Amazon Music With CarPlay

A few days ago, all of a sudden when Amazon Music opens in my truck with CarPlay, it turns on the microphone and music only plays from the one left front dash speaker. Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Video’s all work as they should. It’s just Amazon Music. I’ve tried everything that I can think of. Reboots, reinstall app, turn off microphone setting in AMusic. Nothing works. 2022 Toyota Tundra.

I do notice when I turn up the volume on my car radio while listening to amazon music, a little microphone pops up which didn’t before. I turned off the toggle for “microphone” on my Amazon music settings on iPhone, and also turned off the “Alexa hands free” option in the actual amazon music app. Help! This is driving me crazy. TIA

Following this because I'm having issues in the past day, after Amazon Music App update. I can no longer control the volume on mine.
