changing fonts in Pages

Don't know whether it's the updated OS or the updated Pages; however, I can no longer use 'select all' to change a font style successfully after pasting text from a site such as FB - nothing happens. Sometimes I can change fonts by selecting a portion of the text. Any thoughts are welcome, TIA.

Font not available in Pages Hi, I have created a new font and correctly installed in Font Book, but I can't visualize it in a Pages document. With the TextEdit app I can choose it by the menu "More Font" as I can choose it in word, but in Pages no. how to change "sf ns text" to another font in TextEdit? Sometimes When pasting text from a webpage into TextEdit, the font is automatically changed to "sf ns text," which resists being re-set as a different font. (If I convert it to text then back to RTF then I can set it in any font, but then any hyperlinks are wiped out. Is there a less-destructive way to change to another font? 2012 Mac Pro OS X 10.14.6 32GB (I was waiting for a Mac Pro with Apple CPU, but now that it's out and super costly, I'll be replacing this one with Mac Studio)

Hi hmkachline,

One option that might be useful for getting uniform results would be to use the function to paste and match style:

* Paste and match the style of the text where you’re pasting: Choose Edit > Paste and Match Style.

Copy and paste text in Pages on Mac

That should help you get things more easily formatted in your document.
