Apple Ultra Watch stops the workout when it gets wet

It's frustrating when I go out for a long run in the rain and midway through the run, Apple Watch stops the Workout. It happens every time I run in the rain, even though I wear the watch snug to my wrist. Are there settings I should adjust to stop the watch from aborting my Outside Run Workouts?

It might be your watch is getting random taps on the screen from raindrops. You should be able to activate Water Lock manually if you look for the water drop button in the Watch control center.
