Updated my OS to Ventura 13.2.1 and now no longer can mount/see/format SD drives. Get the message in System Report: This computer doesn’t contain any Apple Internal Memory Card Readers. Anyone now what is going on?

Sounds like a hardware issue..
You do not say what exact Mac Intel or M1/M2
On the M1/M2 id software you can try a SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
