Check your System Settings, General, Login Items. Look for Acrobat Reader in the list and then Click the Minus Icon for that app under 'Open at Login', showing at the top of the list.

ACROBAT READER I have a Mac Mini M2 with Ventura 13.2.1 and Safari 16.3. Just tried downloading Acrobat Reader from the Adobe site. Followed the instructions but it didn't work. The installer icon didn't even appear for me to click on. However the site said "Thank you for installing Acrobat Reader." What's the problem? JanetCato
