Is LaCie Desktop Manager part of the Ventura updates? I noticed I get popups regarding LDM after an update. It says they're from an unidentified developer and they run in the background. Is this from Apple or should I be concerned?

No. LaCie is a manufacturer of external drives, it has nothing to do with Apple. If you are using one of their external drives, and have installed their software for it i.e LaCie Desktop Manager, it is not unlikely it would require an update at some point. Nothing to be concerned about if you use a LaCie external drive. The software may simply not be registered with Apple, and such produces the "unidentified developer" message.

No. LaCie is its own company and you may have installed software to manage your external LaCie hard drive.
