I am trying to set up a savings account, and when I click "set up" it comes a new page and I clicked "continue", it shows "Savings Unavailable: Apple pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later." Has anyone encountered the same issue?

I was also having this problem for several days. I went in and checked my address in Apple Cash, Apple Card, and on my Apple account. That’s when I realised two of the three didn’t have the word Road (Rd) on the street name. Once I added that, it worked. So for me it was a discrepancy in the address.
Is there any workaround? I have the same issue with an iPhone 13 purchased in China.

Seems that's the answer so far. The current iPhone 12 was purchased in China, and my apple card application was approved when I was using a US version iPhone 7. LOL
