My Apple TV 4k keeps switching back to the TV speakers whenever I switch to a different streaming service and occasionally even just changing to a recorded program on my YouTubeTV. Extremely annoying! Is there a way to select my Sonos soundbar to be the default speaker?

You’re supposed to set the Apple TV to use TV speakers (audio over HDMI), and then set the TV to use the soundbar for audio output. Setting the audio output in Apple TV to use the soundbar directly, would result in audio over AirPlay or Bluetooth of lesser quality (stereo).

Thanks. I'm not using the hard wired HDMI to the TV eARC port option. I'm using WiFi. I will try the hard wired option. Thanks for the suggestion!
