Unknown app using camera

No one can use your camera. As a simple test, open Snapchat, close it, and check the Control Center. If it doesn’t say Snapchat and instead says Unknown that means that Snapchat is not correctly reporting to iOS.

Troubleshooting Unknown Camera Access:

A. Close All Apps:

An app is accessing your audio. So, close all apps. Hold you finger down as you swipe up. Then, close all of these open apps, by sweeping up wkly for all apps.

B. Disable Camera:

For Security & Privacy reasons, disable the camera, if and when you have no need to use it.

1. Go To: Settings
2. Tap: Screen Time
3. Tap: Content & Privacy Restrictions
4. Tap: Allowed Apps
5. Tap: Camera (so that it is dulled out)

It’s because you force closed snapchat in the recent apps list 🙂

I get the “Unknown used camera” in my privacy section without opening anything. I would see the green bubble with no apps open and it would say Unknown
