Apple support calls but when I press "1" they can't hear me and just hang up.

This is clearly a problem with Apple's support telephony system.

If you Google "apple support call can't push 1" you'll see many instances of this issue across both Apple & Android devices, I seriously doubt it's your phone which is the issue.

I think this occurs because Apple employees are either busy or still in bed. Its a ruse! But if you complain they call back pretty quickly

Wow, this is an ongoing issue for a long time it seems. Having this problem today with both an SE and an Android phone. An automated phone system that can't understand DTMF?? You'd think someone would notice lots of callback requests with customers never connecting.

How do you complain when you can't reach them?
