activation lock problems. I have an iPhone 4s that, out of the blue, has the activation lock enabled. I read in an article on Apple's official website that it can be disabled by removing the device from Find My. Even though I removed it, the activation lock is still enabled! Why is this happening to me?

Device was removed from Find My but still in Activation Lock I have an iPhone 13 that belonged to my recently deceased cousin. It went into Activation Lock after we tried to open it. When I opened the Find My app, it said that the device is offline, in which I followed the steps stated here How to remove Activation Lock – Apple Support (UK), to remove the activation lock. Now, the device has been removed from Find My, but the phone remains in Activation Lock, in which we need to use the Apple ID and Password that he used when he first setup iCloud to unlock it (which is impossible for us to get since he's passed). Please help

As the Support Article above your name states, “If you need help removing Activation Lock and have proof of purchase documentation, you can start an Activation Lock support request.”
