Air tag

I received a notification letting me know an AirTag tracked my route. I looked for it and couldn’t find it.. I know it would’ve been my husband. Will it continue to notify me each time it tracks my route?

What is the trigger for AirTag to alert it is in your possion? What is the trigger for AirTag to alert it is in your prossion? If you have an AirTag in your car, bikecycle, bag or so and someone steal it, the theif get a notification there is an AirTag and they can easy remove it. How does this help and can it be prevented? Understand that your shouldn't be ablt to track an ex girl friend or so, but how is this issue solved?

Unknown Airtag connected with you I recently got an alert that an unknown airtag was connected to me and even days later it still appears on my items tab in the Find My app, however I no longer have the ability to play the sound and the map hasn't been updated since. The tracking map is no longer active, and shows that it tracked me all the way to my home from work. The alert still says "First seen..." I want to figure out if the owner is still tracking me as I believe this was nefariously placed on my car. My question is, if it is still appearing on my Find My app and listed as "Items detected with you" is this Airtag still tracking me on the owners phone? Also, does the item automatically get removed from the Find My app once it is no longer tracking you or does it remain? Does the owner have the capability to stop me from seeing the active map while they continue to track me?

First, check on the Find My app if you're able to play a sound on the unknown accessory:

Tap the alert.
Tap Continue and then tap Play Sound.
Listen for the sound. You can play it again if you need more time to find the item.

I did do that and I didn’t hear any sound…. But wanted to know if it would keep notifications that it’s following me route?
