I can't download music on Apple Music Preview

After changing the location of the Media folder, I can't download music and will report error = 5

"Genius results can't be updated because the iTunes store doesn't recognise your music library" error message I keep getting an error message saying "Genius results can't be updated because the iTunes Store doesn't recognise your Music library" which is stopping from files I upload into Music from being added to my icloud music library and therefore not accessible on my devices. The suggested fix is "Please choose File > Library > Turn Off Genius to turn off Genius, then turn it back on" but this is no longer an option in Apple Music menus. I have tried signing out and in again, checking if there are any files that might be causing an issue - nothing changes. Any ideas on how to resolve?

Apple Music iCloud status error unable to reset path to local file I have a large music library and after I subscribed to Apple Music, some tracks/albums have their cloud status as ERROR. I am no longer able to play them even if they are in my local iTunes media folder. Is there any way to import them back without losing the play counts and/or creating duplicates? Thank you.

Apple Music App I have spent hours reading threads with no luck. I cannot drag and drop or find anyway to move an MP Music file from the "music folder", in finder to my apple Music folders. The song is highlighted in red when I drag and drop. The folder I try to drop it in is highlighted in red. No error message of any type comes up saying it cannot be done. I have apple music preferences set to Manually manage music. I see others have had issues with this but cannot see any responses to explain or resolve.

Apple does not recommend that you change were the Music folder (or folders inside it), as it can affect the results on how some of your information may appear or function. You can see this information and more here: Change where your music files are stored on Mac - Apple Support

By default, your music is stored here:

Home/Music/

You can change where your music files are stored.

Important: For best results, don’t change the location of the Music folder or the folders inside it.
