Like many people it seems, I want to replace/upgrade my 3 Airport Express. But what with? I have an Airport Extreme next to the modem which seems to work fine but the Expresses that help to extend wifi around the house are old tech and slowing my wifi connections. Any thoughts please?
Yes, at least with the Ubiquiti devices as that is what I have replaced my aging Apple networking hardware with.
But if you are looking for more of a "super easy" setup, then the other systems that Bob Timmons mentioned, would be a better fit for you.

A mesh system from Linksys, Netgear, Eero or Ubiquiti would be the logical choice. A 2 or 3 piece mesh system would far outperform the AirPort Extreme and the AirPort Express devices.
Apple offers the Linksys and Ubiquiti systems in their stores and online if you want to buy from Apple.
