Apple Pencils

I accidentally left my Apple Pencil in my washer for about an hour and now it doesn’t work. I plugged it in and it’s recognized but isn’t holding charge and is disconnecting as soon as I unplug it from the tablet. Is it dead? And if so, does the limited warranty cover an incident like this?

An Apple Pencil is not designed to be waterproof.

Your device warranty does not cover accidental damage - whether by water or otherwise. If your iPad benefits from an active AppleCare plan (this being an optional additional cost purchase), then you Pencil may have benefit of being covered for accidental damage.

Other than the user-replaceable Pencil Tip, the Apple Pencil has no serviceable parts. If damaged or defective, the only remedy is replacement.
