If you are not receiving password reset emails on your private relay email id(used during Sign in with Apple), Here's what worked for me on Indeed:

  1. On your Mac, go to iCloud settings, Hide my Email and search for indeed.
  2. Once you find the entry, click on it.
  3. Look for a gear icon on bottom left corner, "Change forwarding address". This is the important part.
  4. Change forwarding address from your mail email id to iCloud email address.
  5. Go to Indeed and try to change the email id again, put the wrong password and it will show you the Forgot your Password button.
  6. Get the password reset link to your iCloud email address.
  7. Reset the password.
  8. Login to indeed using your newly created password and new email address.

This should solve the issue.

Hey sheena_36,

We'd be happy to help out. When using Sign in with Apple and hiding your email, it'll still forward emails to your actual email address. Using this feature shouldn't impact your ability to get them. With that being said, this might be a better question for Indeed support or you might need to provide your actual email address to the company you're applying for so they can reach you directly.

We hope this helps out.

Take care!

I am experiencing this same problem, and though using this feature shouldn't impact my ability to get them, it is impacting that ability. An employer reached out via text message to ask why I had not replied to their emails. The emails were sent to the private relay account with forwarding enabled, but they never arrived to me. And to further test forwarding capability, I tried emailing myself at the private relay email address and never received my own test emails either.

Unfortunately this does not help, we are aware that the email address is supposed to be forwarded to our own, but it is not doing that. We can not reset our email because it requires a password, I never set a password for indeed.com because my phone only asked for my pin when setting up my account(which did not work when I entered it as the password on their website, it my Apple ID password was unsuccessful as well) the verification to reset the password is sent to the redirect email which never shows up in our personal email.
